Duties:Maintainsand advances industryexpertiseby reviewingnew technologies;participatingin continuing education and training (for example relevant industry certifications forums); and attending industry technology events with key suppliers (for example conferences collaboration meetings). Leads system design process and solution development by conducting feasibility studies prototype construction and/or optimization analyses;participatingin project artifact and technical reviews; challenging suppliers to improve technology; and researching technology and software development for improved information technology solutions. Leads technical strategy implementation efforts by communicating business advantages of technology implementation to Customers; delivering technology strategy presentations to diverse Wal-Mart audiences; and collaborating with others (for example peers colleagues) to conduct research and to set or adopt industry standards. Directs coordination between large projects and the technical execution plan by converting requirements into viable technical solutions; assisting in the development and evaluation of detailed technical specifications performance criteria and test criteria; assisting project management with timeline creation; evaluating and recommending vendor products; ensuring regulatory compliance; developing implementation procedures and standards; and integrating third-party solutions into the Wal-Mart environment. Drives the execution of multiple business plans and projects for Global Tech Division by identifying customer and operational needs; developing and communicating business plans and priorities; removing barriers and obstacles that impact performance; providing resources; identifying performance standards; measuring progress and adjusting performance accordingly; developing contingency plans; and demonstrating adaptability and supporting continuous learning.
Minimum education and experience:8 years of experience in information technology or related experience OR Bachelors degree or the equivalent in Information Technology Computer Science or a related field plus 6 years of experience in information technology or related experience
Skills required: Must have experience with:Configuring SharePoint 2013/2016 farms and Microsoft SQL Servers 2016/2012 for QA DEV PRD and DR environments on MS Azure using Linux (Ubuntu SUSE and CentOS) and Windows Servers (Win Server 2008 R2/2012 R2/2016); GIT to store code set up new development repositories create branches and facilitate releases; Designing Governance policies and Operational procedures using Microsoft Operations Framework for Microsoft SharePoint Server 2010/2016; SharePoint Online; Creating custom Docker images with Docker File and pulling images from Docker hub and docker repositories;Ansible (Concord) to automate provisioning configuration management application deployment and orchestration; Jenkins (Looper) to build and test software projects for continuous integration; Developing reusable Terraform code to deploy infrastructure necessary to formulate development test and production environments; Developing reusable Terraform code to deploy infrastructure necessary to formulate development test and production environments; Automated builds testing and release management capabilities using Azure DevOps and managed Azure Boards Azure Repos and Azure continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) Pipelines; Developing and generating weekly execution of complete farm baseline reports DB Size reports reports of all sites by BU Super curator and curator roles site aging reports (180 daysreport) and status of content that has been tagged with data classification and taxonomy using Windows Power Shell 3.0/5.0 to find the implementation of Taxonomy; Managed Azure Virtual NetworkService and private Endpoints for several PaaS offerings such as Azure Storage Azure App Service Azure SQL Data Lake Event Hubs Service Bus Key Vault Cosmos DB MariaDB MySQL PostgreSQL or Azure Container Registry and enforced IP restrictions/filtering and firewall configurations; and Working on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services such as Compute Engine Cloud Load Balancing Cloud Storage Cloud SQLBigQueryBigTable App Engine Google Kubernetes Engine Cloud Functions Cloud Spanner Stack Driver Monitoring FirebaseDialogflow Key Management Service Secret Manager and Cloud Deployment Manager.Employerwill accept any amount of experience with the required skills.
