We are seeking a reliable enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and inclusive primary school in Hayes starting as soon as possible. This role provides a fantastic opportunity to support pupils learning and development working closely with teachers and other staff in a nurturing structured environment.

The Role
As a Teaching Assistant you will provide support to pupils across Key Stages 1 and 2. This may include supporting whole-class lessons leading small-group activities and providing targeted one-to-one support for pupils who require additional help. You will also assist with classroom management helping to maintain a positive structured and safe learning environment.
You will work closely with teachers to implement differentiated learning strategies ensuring that all pupils are able to access the curriculum and make progress. Observing and recording pupil progress contributing to assessments and providing feedback to staff are key responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
Support teaching and learning across Key Stage 1 and 2
Work with individuals or small groups to deliver targeted support
Assist teachers with lesson preparation and classroom organisation
Promote positive behaviour and engagement in learning
Help pupils develop confidence independence and resilience
Observe record and report on pupil progress
Support pupils with additional needs including SEND and EAL learners
Collaborate effectively with teachers teaching assistants and other staff
Maintain a safe structured and inclusive learning environment
Follow safeguarding policies and procedures at all times
