JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsible:

Auto Finance / Captive Lease

• Work with local finance sales aftersales and legal teams to develop and roll out finance programs.

• Design and manage retail and business finance products (leasing loans balloon etc.) to support BYDs sales targets.

• Partner with banks and leasing companies to optimize offers pricing and customer experience.

• Track portfolio performance (penetration margin risk) and report insights to management. Wholesale & Dealer Financing

• Establish and manage relationships with local banks lenders and other financial partners to secure competitive funding lines.

• Negotiate wholesale credit facilities to support BYDs dealer network development and expansion in the country.

• Optimize floorplan (inventory) financing structures to align dealer stock levels with local market demand.

• Conduct financial health assessments for franchise/dealer partners and provide risk-based recommendations.

Strategy Market Intelligence & Compliance

• Monitor and assess local market trends competitor activities and regulatory developments in auto finance and leasing to support strategic decision-making.

• Ensure regulatory and internal policy compliance across all local financing and leasing activities.

• Coordinate with BYD Group finance and legal teams on cross-border and group-level financing agreements that impact the local market.

• Prepare and present strategic reports business cases and improvement suggestions to senior management.

Qualifications and requirements:

• Bachelors degree or above in Finance Accounting or related fields.

• Minimum 5 years experience in auto finance preferably within captive finance leasing companies or banks.

• Strong analytical numerical and problem-solving skills with experience in financial analysis and portfolio monitoring.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships with external partners and internal stakeholders.

• Proficiency in English is required; Chinese or any other European languages are an advantage.

• Strong understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements in auto finance/leasing in the local market.

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced international environment and to manage multiple projects.

• Team management experience is required with experience leading a team of 3 or more people.
