Job Description:
Were seeking a high-performing Outside Sales Representative with a true hunter mentality to drive new business growth across the Long Beach and Torrance markets. This is a long-cycle consultative B2B sales role focused on selling commercial HVAC service agreements directly to building owners operators and C-level this environment long sales cycles mean getting in the door to conduct an initial site survey coordinating an engineering assessment presenting and reviewing detailed proposals and ultimately securing contract approval.
Commercial HVAC deals frequently take 612 months due to budget planning cycles multiple stakeholder approvals and competitive bidding processes. Youll own the entire sales processfrom prospecting and discovery through negotiation and closeand must bring grit persistence and a relentless focus on closing to consistently move complex opportunities forward.
Youll be supported by qualified inbound leads industry-leading HVAC training a structured onboarding program and HubSpot CRMbut your results will be driven by your ability to prospect hunt and win.
Tuesday & Friday: Office days for administrative work
Monday / Wednesday / Thursday: Field days for prospecting and client meetings
What We Offer:
Base salary: $65000$95000 uncapped commission (% of sales)
10% on Preventative Maintenance Agreements
3% on Preventative Maintenance Renewals
1% on Service and Retrofit Invoices

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Prospect aggressively through cold calling door-to-door visits networking and referrals
Build and manage a long-cycle B2B sales pipeline in HubSpot
Identify qualify and pursue commercial HVAC service agreement opportunities
Conduct in-person and virtual discovery meetings with building owners and executives
Develop tailored proposals based on client operational and budgetary needs
Maintain consistent multi-touch follow-up to move deals through extended sales cycles
Negotiate pricing terms and contracts with a focus on closing profitable business
Close new accounts and expand territory presence in Long Beach and Torrance
Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets
Partner with service and operations teams to ensure smooth onboarding and client satisfaction
Represent the company with professionalism confidence and integrity
Requirements & Qualifications:
35 years of B2B outside sales experience
Proven success in outbound hunter-style sales environments
Demonstrated ability to manage and close longer consultative sales cycles
Experience selling technical service-based or industrial solutions
Strong negotiation objection-handling and closing skills
Highly self-motivated with a relentless drive to win new business
Comfortable engaging C-level executives and building owners
Strong communication presentation and organizational skills
CRM experience (HubSpot preferred)
Consistent history of meeting or exceeding quotas
Preferred: 5 years of experience small business sales background or leadership experience
