Senior operational role with whole-site responsibility

The role involves responsibility for the effective operation safety and presentation of the school site. You will manage facilities staff and contractors ensure full compliance with health & safety regulations and work closely with senior leaders to support the smooth running of the school.

Key Responsibilities

  • Overall management of school buildings grounds and facilities

  • Oversight of health & safety statutory compliance and risk assessments

  • Management of contractors servicing schedules and site projects

  • Line management of caretaking and facilities staff

  • Budget monitoring and procurement related to facilities and maintenance

  • Supporting school events and operational planning

Experience and Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a Facilities Manager Estates Manager or similar role

  • Strong knowledge of health & safety and statutory compliance

  • Experience managing contractors and facilities teams

  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills

  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
