EYFS 11 Teaching Assistant – Uxbridge

We are seeking a caring patient and dedicated EYFS 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join a nurturing primary school in Uxbridge starting as soon as possible. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in a young childs first year of school by providing personalised support to help them access the Early Years curriculum and develop essential skills.

The Role

As an EYFS 1:1 Teaching Assistant you will work closely with one child requiring additional support. You will help them participate in classroom activities develop communication social and academic skills and build confidence and independence. You will also liaise with teachers SENCo and other staff to implement personalised learning strategies and monitor progress.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one support for a pupil in EYFS

• Assist with classroom activities learning tasks and structured play

• Support the childs social emotional and communication development

• Encourage independence resilience and positive learning behaviours

• Observe and record pupil progress and provide feedback to staff

• Implement strategies outlined in the childs Individual Education Plan (IEP)

• Work collaboratively with teachers assistants and other professionals

• Maintain a safe structured and nurturing learning environment
