We are seeking a passionate enthusiastic and experienced Year 3 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Northampton starting as soon as possible. This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher who enjoys Lower Key Stage 2 and wants to create engaging high-quality lessons that challenge and support pupils to achieve their full potential.

The Role
As a Year 3 Teacher you will be responsible for planning delivering and assessing lessons across the curriculum. You will support pupils to develop independence resilience and positive learning behaviours preparing them for future stages of their education.
You will collaborate with teaching assistants Key Stage 2 colleagues and senior leaders to maintain high standards and ensure a consistent inclusive learning experience. Building strong relationships with parents and carers is also an essential part of the role.
Key Responsibilities
Plan deliver and assess engaging lessons across the Year 3 curriculum
Track pupil progress and adapt teaching to meet individual needs
Differentiate learning for all pupils including SEND and EAL learners
Promote independence resilience and positive learning behaviours
Maintain a structured and inclusive classroom environment
Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and KS2 colleagues
Communicate effectively with parents and carers
Participate in staff meetings CPD and school initiatives
The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate will:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Have experience teaching Key Stage 2 ideally Year 3
Be confident delivering literacy numeracy and foundation subjects
Demonstrate excellent classroom management and organisational skills
Be reflective proactive and adaptable
Show a commitment to inclusion and safeguarding
Work effectively as part of a collaborative team
Early Career Teachers are encouraged to apply and will receive mentoring and support.
