A caring high-expectations secondary school in Bradford is seeking a committed Attendance & Safeguarding Officer to join its pastoral team from January 2026. This is a crucial role focused on student wellbeing daily attendance and safeguarding administration supporting children and families while working closely with internal teams and external agencies.

The Role
You will monitor and improve attendance while supporting safeguarding processes and ensuring records are accurate timely and compliant.
Key responsibilities include:
Monitoring daily attendance and punctuality identifying patterns and concerns
Working with families to resolve barriers to attendance (supportive but structured)
Supporting safeguarding recording processes and maintaining accurate documentation
Liaising with pastoral teams SEN staff local authority services and agencies
Producing reports for leaders and contributing to attendance strategy
Supporting escalations meetings and referrals where required
