Job Summary
An Outstanding-rated secondary school in Portsmouth is seeking a dynamic and inspiring Dance Teacher to join its highly regarded Performing Arts Department. This is a full-time permanent opportunity with flexibility for a start in either April or September 2026 making it ideal for both experienced practitioners and those planning ahead.

Full-time permanent position
The role involves teaching Dance across KS3 and KS4 with the opportunity to contribute to KS5 depending on experience. You will deliver engaging practical and theory-based lessons support performance work and play an active role in school productions showcases and extracurricular dance activities.
Experience and Qualifications
QTS and a degree in Dance or a related Performing Arts discipline
Experience teaching Dance at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable)
Strong classroom practice and behaviour management
Ability to inspire confidence creativity and technical excellence
Willingness to contribute to performances events and enrichment activities
