About the Role
The successful candidate will teach Spanish across Key Stages 3 and 4 helping pupils develop confidence communication skills and cultural understanding.
Key responsibilities include:
Teaching Spanish across Key Stages 3 and 4
Planning and delivering engaging differentiated lessons
Developing pupils listening speaking reading and writing skills
Monitoring and assessing pupil progress
Preparing pupils for GCSE examinations
Contributing to curriculum development within the department
Supporting extracurricular activities such as language clubs trips or cultural events
Experience and Skills
The successful candidate will:
Hold QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification
Have strong subject knowledge in Spanish
Be confident teaching across multiple key stages
Demonstrate excellent classroom management and organisational skills
Be passionate about language education and pupil success
Work effectively within a collaborative department
