What youll do
Youll assist with the construction maintenance and repair of overhead power lines while learning to work safely at heights using specialist climbing and lifting equipment. Youll support inspections faultfinding and essential network repairs using tools and machinery to install replace and secure line components. Throughout the apprenticeship youll follow strict safety procedures and industry standards as you work towards a Level 3 Power Industry Overhead Linesperson Apprenticeship that blends handson experience with structured training.

What were looking for
For our Level 3 Apprenticeship youll need 5 GCSEs or equivalent at passing grades. This programme offers a mix of practical experience and theoretical learning with a focus on more technical or specialized roles to help you build expertise.
You will be enrolled on the Level 3 Power Industry Overhead Linesperson Apprenticeship. A structured programme lasting approximately 30 months.
