Job Summary
Job Title: Workshop Apprentice
Hours: Monday - Friday 07:30 - 16.00
Location: Trafford Park

Are you practical handson and eager to learn Join our specialist technical team as a Workshop Apprentice where you will be involved in sample preparation. Youll gain real-world engineering skills while working with industryleading experts. In this apprenticeship youll be handson in machining and preparing coated pipeline samples that contribute to advanced testing projects for global customers. Youll learn how to work to strict industry standards operate precision workshop machinery and contribute to a safe highquality laboratory environment.
As part of your apprenticeship youll be trained to:
- Work under the guidance of the Workshop Supervisor to read and interpret engineering drawings standards and specifications.
- Verify dimensions and quality before samples enter the laboratory.
- Prepare and machine coated test samples
- Maintain accurate preparation records and follow documentcontrol procedures.
- Operate workshop machinery safely and within competency limits.
- Support routine equipment checks
Qualifications :
- GCSE Maths and English
- Keen to develop a career in engineering testing or laboratory operations.
- Reliable safetyconscious and willing to learn.
- Able to follow instructions and work with accuracy and attention to detail.
- A good communicator who feels comfortable asking questions and reporting issues.
