Lunchtime is one of the busiest and most important parts of a childs school day. Its a time for refueling socialising and letting off energy and with your help it can be a safe structured and enjoyable experience for every pupil.

MDMS is seeking Midday Meal Supervisors to support primary schools across East Lindsey. This role is perfect for anyone who enjoys working with children wants part-time term-time work and is looking to make a meaningful contribution to their local community.

Key Responsibilities

As a Midday Meal Supervisor your role will include:

• Supervising pupils during lunchtime in dining halls classrooms and playgrounds

• Supporting younger children or those with additional needs

• Encouraging positive behaviour and good manners

• Being aware of allergies dietary requirements and medical conditions

• Supervising outdoor play and indoor activities during poor weather

• Promoting inclusive play and teamwork among pupils

• Helping resolve minor disputes calmly and fairly

• Providing reassurance to children who may feel anxious or upset

• Administering basic first aid where necessary (training provided)

• Reporting accidents incidents or safeguarding concerns promptly to school staff

• Collaborating with teachers teaching assistants and other lunchtime staff to ensure smooth routines

You will be a trusted familiar adult that children rely on each day.
