Media Studies Department:
The Media Studies department is a forward-thinking and engaging area of the curriculum offering students the opportunity to explore a wide range of media forms platforms and industries. Teaching within the department focuses on media analysis representation audience theory and creative coursework production. Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in Media Studies or a related discipline
Experience teaching Media Studies at secondary level
Strong theoretical and practical subject knowledge
Familiarity with GCSE (A Level desirable)
Excellent organisational and classroom management skills
Commitment to student achievement creativity and inclusion
