Job Summary
The DevOps Specialist will design and implement automated deployment pipelines configure cloud environments and support database and platform operations required for Workflow Services. The role will implement infrastructure-as-code monitoring and observability tooling and backup/restore processes to ensure operational reliability security and compliance for SDG-facing production deployments. The DevOps Specialist will work closely with developers product teams data teams and platform stakeholders to support secure scalable and observable enterprise environments.
Demonstrated Experience-
Minimum 3 years of experience in the past 5 years in DevOps engineering or platform operations.

Experience implementing CI/CD automation using modern tooling (e.g. GitHub Actions Azure DevOps).

Experience working with cloud compute platforms (e.g. OpenShift Kubernetes Docker IaaS/PaaS/SaaS environments).

Experience configuring and managing database systems such as CrunchyDB Patroni and PostgreSQL.

Experience implementing infrastructure-as-code (Terraform or Bicep).

Experience incorporating application observability tooling including Grafana Prometheus and Sysdig.

Experience applying DevSecOps practices to support application maintenance and operation.

Experience with scripting and programming languages (e.g. TypeScript JavaScript Shell scripting).

Understanding of software development lifecycle principles and automated testing integration.
Preference may be given to candidates with:

Experience supporting mission-critical government or regulated enterprise platforms.

Experience coordinating DevOps across interdependent platforms or common components.
