Job Title: Information Systems Architect - Consultant
Client: State of South Carolina
Wok location: Columbia SC
Work mode: Fully Remote (Only Eastern time zone candidates are acceptable)

Note: This position is only for W2 candidates C2C or 1099 are not acceptable.

Required Skills:

5 years of experience in enterprise MECM/SCCM and MDT administration
5 years of experience in Windows operating system software and image deployments & refreshes
Skilled in multiple OS image development & implementation
5 years of experience in software update points (SUP) and WSUS integrations with SQL server configurations
Experience with active directory ENTRA AD/ADDC HYBRID M365 administration Microsoft Intune (co-management) and ENTRA defender for endpoint (MDE) management

Daily duties / responsibilities:

Works under limited supervision in the administration designing deploy maintenance security monitoring and support of agencys MDT and MECM/SCCM infrastructure.

Ensure reliable software distribution patching reporting and operating system deployment (OSD).

Analysis of agency software versioning for business needs as required and leads in the implementation of software specifications to meet those needs.

Configure applications deployments for endpoint devices to meet techincal requirements.

Improve endpoint compliance security posture and opertional efficiency based on technical needs.

Monitor performance of mecm/sccm infratrucuture event logs analyze and perform routine security practices as needed.

Provide operational support documentation and knowledge transfer.

Updates mdt and mcm/sccm environment with security controls

Participates in the entrprise administration planning installation maintenance security monitoring and support of the agencys endpoint computers software deployments and peripheral devices.

Maximize security controls using industry best practices.

Supports and adheres to change management processes.

Awareness of security compliance changes processes.

Identifies risks and communicates risks to the cio and it team.

Develops technical documentation following agency policies; cjis security guidance; state security standards.
