Our Military Aircraft Group is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join our Prismatic (Complex Milling) Manufacturing Group in East Aurora NY. This is your opportunity to take on a high-impact role where innovation meets precision and your expertise drives the development of cutting-edge aerospace components.

As a Senior Manufacturing Engineer you ll be at the forefront of both new product development and continuous improvement of existing manufacturing processes. You ll work hands-on with complex milled parts applying advanced CNC programming and machining knowledge to solve challenges and optimize performance.

As a Senior Manufacturing Engineer you will:

Lead the development of manufacturing processes for new aerospace components.

Drive Design for Manufacturing (DFM) initiatives across engineering teams.

Create and prove out N/C programs operation sequences work holding design concepts tooling/gauge lists and detailed work instructions.

Support and improve existing production processes through hands-on shop floor engagement.

Estimate time standards labor ratios and economic run quantities for complex parts.

Generate detailed cost estimates for new business and process improvements.

Evaluate and implement new capital equipment and manufacturing technologies.

Collaborate daily with engineers technicians operations staff quality teams and suppliers to resolve process issues and mentor peers.

Lead projects and potentially own the engineering portion of a dedicated manufacturing cell.

Support automated manufacturing cells to reduce labor and variability.

To be considered for Senior Manufacturing Engineer heres what youll typically bring with you:

A bachelor s degree in a technical field with 5 years of relevant professional experience or an associate degree with 8 years of relevant professional experience or a High School Diploma/GED with 10 years of proven professional experience

Strong knowledge and experience in 5-Axis CNC Milling programming using CAD/CAM (NX experience preferred but not required)

Proven experience in end-to-end process engineering from raw material to finished product

Hands-on machining experience including setup and operation

Expertise in machining a variety of materials (aluminum titanium stainless steel etc.)

Strong knowledge of cutting tools work holding and fixture design

Excellent communication and documentation skills

Project management experience

Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word Excel etc.)
