Job Summary

Job Title: Quality Technician III

Location: Newton NC

Duration: 12 Months

Job Type: Contract

Maximum Submissions per Supplier: 15

Note: The first 4-6 weeks of assignment will be training on the floor in shifts 7 AM to 7 PM. After training is complete assignment will be M-F: 8-5. However occasional overtime and after-hours support can be expected to make required progress of the project. Experience performing IQ OQ and PQ for equipment qualification

Hands-on equipment troubleshooting and technical problem resolution
Strong documentation and reporting skills
Ability to conduct root cause analysis using structured methodologies

Nice-to-Have Skills:

Experience with FMEA Six Sigma DOE DMAIC Fishbone or similar tools
Experience training operators and supporting equipment setup
Familiarity with audits and inspections
Willingness to travel between sites

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

Perform installation operational and performance qualification (IQ/OQ/PQ)
Ensure equipment compliance with regulatory and internal quality standards
Document qualification results deviations and corrective actions
Conduct equipment testing calibration and performance troubleshooting
Support audits and inspections related to equipment qualification
Collaborate with engineering maintenance and quality teams to support equipment reliability

Requirements:

Associates or Bachelors degree in Engineering Science or related technical field
1 3 years of experience in equipment qualification or a related role
Knowledge of industrial equipment operation and diagnostics
Strong analytical communication and attention-to-detail skills
Ability to work independently and in team-based environments

Work Environment:

Laboratory manufacturing or cleanroom environments
Adherence to safety protocols and PPE requirements
Physically able to handle equipment and perform inspections
