Job Summary

Projected Start DateProjected End Date Control Center Desktop/LAN Administrator

Responsible for technical and administrative support of the Distribution Control Center. Ensures configuration availability performance and security of endpoint systems to meet operational requirements. Works closely with Control Center personnel to maintain system readiness and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install configure and maintain hardware/software systems.
  • Perform routine updates patches and upgrades.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues.
  • Manage and support network devices (routers switches firewalls).
  • Maintain security protocols access controls and monitor logs.
  • Provide end user support for hardware/software problems.
  • Support datacenter operations (UPS cooling vendor coordination).
  • Configure user accounts email and access permissions.
  • Implement and manage backup and disaster recovery solutions.
  • Document system configurations and prepare performance reports.
  • Collaborate with IT helpdesk and cross functional teams.
  • Manage escalations client expectations and vendor relationships.
  • Support hardware decommissioning business moves and asset tracking.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree 2 years IT experience OR Associates degree certification 4 years IT experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Desktop & Server OS PowerShell Active Directory DHCP/DNS TCP/IP.
  • Experience with imaging deploying and troubleshooting desktops/laptops.
  • Skilled in ServiceNow/ticketing systems Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical problem solving and communication skills.
  • Must hold a valid drivers license and be available for off hours/emergency assignments.

Preferred

  • Cybersecurity certifications.
  • Knowledge of networking fundamentals.
