We are seeking an Insurance Examiner to join their team. This role is responsible for reviewing filings ensuring regulatory compliance and working directly with brokers to resolve documentation issues.
Immediate interviews are being scheduled this week.
Mondays remote 4 days on-site. Summers Fridays are remote. Based on performance can get an additional remote day.
Key Responsibilities
- Review incoming filings for accuracy completeness and compliance
- Determine appropriate coverage and classification codes
- Verify insurer eligibility for stamping in New York
- Identify missing or incorrect information and resolve with brokers
- Communicate directly with brokers to clarify filings
- Determine appropriate suspense codes for returned items
- Maintain organized filing of affidavits and documentation
Qualifications
- Preferred 2 years Property & Casualty or Commercial Lines experience
- Knowledge of Excess & Surplus Lines documentation preferred
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to perform premium percentage calculations
- Excellent communication skills when working with brokers
- Comfortable working with document processing systems and office software
