MemSQL Developer (SingleStore)

Key Responsibilities
Install configure upgrade and patch MemSQL / SingleStore clusters
Manage distributed database architecture (aggregator & leaf nodes)
Monitor database health performance and resource utilization
Perform performance tuning (queries indexes pipelines memory disk)
Manage backup restore and disaster recovery strategies
Ensure high availability (HA) and failover configurations
Handle data replication and cluster scaling (horizontal & vertical)
Troubleshoot database issues bottlenecks and outages
Implement security best practices (user access roles encryption)
Automate DBA tasks using scripts (Shell Python etc.)
Collaborate with application DevOps and data engineering teams
Maintain documentation and follow operational best practices

Required Skills & Qualifications
3 years of experience as a Database Administrator
Strong hands-on experience with MemSQL / SingleStore
Solid knowledge of SQL distributed databases and OLTP/OLAP workloads
Experience with Linux/Unix environments
Understanding of sharding replication and partitioning
Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP) is a plus
Experience with monitoring tools (SingleStore Studio Prometheus Grafana etc.)
Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps practices
