Location: Mesa AZ (Primary) - Phoenix AZ (As Needed)
Schedule:
- Mesa Office: Monday Thursday 7:00 AM 6:00 PM
- Phoenix Office: Monday Friday 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
(Work schedule will be based on assigned office hours.)
Position Overview The Arizona Department of Revenue is seeking a detail oriented and customer focused Customer Service Representative 3 to support licensing operations. This is an in person role primarily based in the Mesa office with occasional travel required to the Phoenix office.
The CSR3 is responsible for providing front line customer service to taxpayers processing license applications handling in person payments and ensuring accurate reconciliation and balancing of daily transactions. This role requires strong communication skills high accuracy and the ability to work efficiently in a fast paced environment.
Key Responsibilities - Provide in person customer service to taxpayers regarding licensing requirements rules laws and procedures.
- Receive process and apply payments for all tax types including:
- Cash
- Checks
- Debit/credit card transactions
- Money orders
- Perform daily reconciliation and end of day balancing for an assigned till.
- Process licensing applications renewals and account updates.
- Respond to inquiries and assist customers with completing required forms and documentation.
- Maintain accurate records and follow departmental procedures and compliance standards.
- Work on site in both Mesa and Phoenix offices as scheduled.
Required Qualifications - Minimum 2 years of customer service experience.
- At least 1 year working in a high production or high volume environment.
- Proven cash handling experience.
- Proficiency with Google Workspace (Google Suite).
Preferred Qualifications - Bilingual (Spanish/English preferred).
Additional Information - This position requires in person interviews.
- In person attendance is mandatory; remote work is not available.
