Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Executive Director to support and guide our institution into its next chapter. This role offers the unique opportunity to shape strategic initiatives that strengthen membership expand resources and build a thriving sustainable future for our dynamic community.

What You Will Be Responsible For:
- Financial Stewardship: Oversee budgeting accounts receivable and payable payroll dues collection financial reporting insurance and grant management.
- Facilities Leadership: Manage properties maintenance security vendor relationships and special projects ensuring the synagogue and mikvah are well maintained and Shabbat/Yom Tov ready.
- Program & Event Support: Coordinate logistics for synagogue programs kiddushim and lifecycle events ensuring proactive and smooth communication delivery execution and a welcoming environment.
- Staff Supervision: Supervise a dedicated team including Associate Director Director of Family Programming and Maintenance Coordinator.
- Office Management: Manage daily office operations while supporting the board the Rabbi and other lay leadership in advancing ASBIs mission and strategic goals.
- Fundraising & Development: Support and partner with clergy board members and lay leaders on fundraising efforts including annual fundraisers and special campaigns.
What You Bring to the Role:
- 5 years proven experience in nonprofit or synagogue administration financial management and staff supervision.
- Strong organizational communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with the Rabbi lay leaders and volunteers.
- Commitment to supporting the values and practices of our Modern Orthodox synagogue.
- Availability and flexibility to frequently oversee or delegate supervision of synagogue programming on Shabbat holidays and evenings.
Compensation Benefits and Job Structure:
This is a full-time hybrid position with an annual salary of $75000-$85000 commensurate with experience.
