The Belted Goat is a lively café and market at the heart of Fearrington Village known for fresh seasonal food artisanal products and a welcoming atmosphere. We serve a high volume of guests daily and pride ourselves on quality consistency and a strong team culture.
Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable energetic and skilled Line Cook to join our kitchen team. This is a full-time position in a fast-paced environment ideal for someone who enjoys working with a team staying organized under pressure and producing consistently high-quality food.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and execute menu items for breakfast lunch and occasional evening service
Maintain consistency quality and presentation standards
Work efficiently during high-volume service periods
Keep a clean organized and well-stocked station
Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
Communicate clearly with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations
Assist with prep and closing duties as needed
Qualifications
Previous line cook experience preferred
Ability to work in a fast-paced high-volume kitchen
Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency
Team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude
Dependable and punctual
Must be available to work weekends (WednesdaySunday schedule)
