Hospital: Skyline Medical Center Location: Nashville TN Address: 3441 Dickerson Road Unit Name: 7th Trauma Med/Surg Building: Main Cost Center: 613 General Information Unit Specifics: Number of Beds : 34 Patient Ratios : 6:1 Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability): Tech support on day shift and night shift. Unit secretary 7a-7p. Type of equipment: IV Pumps Telemetry SCD s Continuous Pulse Ox Machines Feeding Pumps PCA EKG machines bladder scanner iMobile communication technology Documentation system: Meditech Scheduling requirements: 3 12 hours shifts/week; 2 weekends (4 shifts) per 4 week schedule Floating policy: Contract labor is first to float; go by rotation when there are multiple C/L staff scheduled Patient Experience requirements: Expected to provide attentive and compassionate care to patients/family members. Bedside shift report ability to make personal connections with patients and include them/family members in their plan of care. Hospital Specifics- Certifications: Comprehensive Stroke ACS Verified Level II Trauma Center Certified Chest Pain Center Hiring profile Requested Skill Set: Med/Surg Experience ability to prioritize care multitask start IV s basic wound care maintenance of surgical drains nasogastric tubes & chest tubes.
