Job Summary

Minimum Experience: 1 year; 1st Timers are accepted Patient Population: Adults to Geriatrics Certifications Required: BLS ACLS NIH General Skills and Work Setting Requirements: All Protentional MS MS Tele PCU ICU Neuro ICU CVICU diagnoses. Primary floating required is ICU Float but could float to all MS MS/Tele PCU ICU units within the hospital Ratio / Census: 1:2-3 ICU; 1:4-5 PCU; 1:5-6 MS MS Tele Unit Systems: Epic (Required) Pyxis SBAR Scrub Color: Navy Blue RTO: MAX 7 days Weekends: Every other weekend (average 6 weekends in a 13-week contract) Floating: Required Call Requirements: None Holidays: If one major holiday falls in his/her assignment period the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall in his/her assignment period the traveler is expected to work both of the holidays. If three major holidays fall in his/her assignment period the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays. Major Holidays are listed below: New Year s Eve and Day Spring Break: Typically second week of April Memorial Day Independence Day Labor Day Thanksgiving/Black Friday Christmas Eve and Day Compliance: Full compliance required to start on time; if not compliant in time the push back is 2 weeks due to bi-weekly orientation schedule. *Aya Offer* Aya Offer Information: Once candidate has signed and confirmation has been sent manager has 48 hours to review the profile/confirmation and determine if unit/schedule/expertise fit. *Aya Offer only available if clinical pass within RTO guidelines meets specific facility requirements*. Locals Accepted - Same Rate Please Note: Number of Non-Billable Orientation (NBO) Hours is determined by contract length (ex 8hrs for 8 week assignment; 19hrs for 19 week assignment)
