Job Summary

Key Responsibilities:

Define QA tasks on projects collaborating with Project Managers Business Analysts and Developers to establish scope of testing test strategies test plans and test cases including time estimates for testing activities.

Execute and coordinate comprehensive testing activities including functional regression integration performance security mobile big data cross-platform UI/UX and A/B testing.

Utilize both ad hoc and structured manual testing strategies (black box and white box) as appropriate.

Design develop and maintain automated functional and integration tests that validate database middleware and UI layers of web applications.

Leverage and extend existing automation frameworks using tools such as Selenium WebDriver Cucumber/SpecFlow Rest Assured Postman Visual Studio Test tools Puppet/Jasmin etc.

Develop and execute SQL scripts to create test data for functional verification and to support load and performance testing. Thoroughly document test cases test results and defects using test case management and defect tracking tools.

Analyze and identify technical challenges and impacts related to testing and quality assurance.

Work within defined project milestones and budgets adjusting priorities as needed.

Collaborate effectively across teams to deliver world-class systems and consulting services.

Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information responsibly.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree or equivalent industry experience; majors in Computer Science Information Systems Business Finance or Accounting preferred.

Minimum 2 years of hands-on QA SDET or software testing experience across all phases of the product lifecycle.

Proficiency in testing complex desktop and web applications using technologies such as: o Java C# .Net Visual Studio o JavaScript jQuery AJAX React o Ruby on Rails Python (preferred) o HTML/HTML5 CSS o PostgreSQL SQL Server Oracle MySQL

Experience with test automation tools including Selenium WebDriver Cucumber/SpecFlow Rest Assured Postman Visual Studio Test tools Puppet/Jasmin or similar. Strong SQL skills for writing queries to develop and load test data.

Experience with multiple testing types: functional integration regression performance security mobile big data cross-platform UI/UX and A/B testing.

Familiarity with design methodologies such as Object-Oriented Design Model-Driven Architecture and Behavior Driven Development (BDD).

Proficiency in writing test strategies test plans and test cases.

Experience managing test tools for test case management and defect tracking.

Ability to understand client business and technology requirements and tailor testing accordingly.

Strong written and verbal communication skills including the ability to communicate issues risks and status proactively.

Ability to work independently in a complex fast-paced environment with changing priorities.

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of Azure and/or AWS cloud platforms.

Experience with complex business domains such as equity compensation plans human resources energy management procurement or healthcare management.

ECA/CEP designation or equivalent is a plus.

Experience using Atlassian tools (Jira Confluence Bitbucket)

Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word Excel and Visio.
