Job Title: X-Ray Technologist (Radiologic Technologist)

Duration: 1-year base contract with up to four (4) option years
Shift Schedule: 8- 9- or 10-hour shifts (4 5 days/week) including rotating weekends and federal holidays. On-call overtime and callback coverage may be required as needed.
How many shifts needed per month: Approximately full-time coverage (1.0 FTE 2080 hours/year per technologist)
Credentialing / Onboarding time: 6 weeks to 8 weeks
License:
ARRT Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist
Certifications:
- ARRT (MRI)
- BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support)
Experience needed:
- Minimum 2 years X-Ray experience
- Must have worked as an X-Ray Tech in a hospital setting within the last 6 months
Special Skills needed:
- Portable X-ray imaging
- Trauma and routine diagnostic exams
- Radiation safety and infection control
- Strong patient interaction skills
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and complex diagnostic X-ray exams
- Position patients and operate radiographic equipment
- Maintain imaging records and documentation
- Ensure radiation protection for patients and staff
- Provide portable imaging throughout the medical center
- Participate in after-hours and emergency coverage
Misc:
- Minimum assignment: 2 days (16 hours)
