Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to provide care for adult psychiatric patients. The RN will deliver safe effective and patient-centered care in a behavioral health setting collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to support recovery and wellness.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct nursing care to adult psychiatric patients including assessment medication administration and monitoring of mental and physical status.

Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the treatment team.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR system.

Respond appropriately to behavioral changes de-escalate crises and ensure patient safety.

Participate in team meetings care planning sessions and interdisciplinary rounds.

Support patients emotional social and behavioral needs through therapeutic interactions.

Adhere to hospital policies procedures and regulatory standards.
Shift & Schedule:

Available all shifts

Holiday coverage pay based on hours worked
Qualifications & Experience:
-
Minimum 2 years of nursing experience preferably in psychiatric or behavioral health care.

Must hold an active state RN license.

Knowledge of psychiatric nursing principles crisis intervention and patient safety protocols.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with patients families and colleagues.
Certifications Required:
-
BLS/ACLS required
-
Preferred: PALS
Additional Information:
-
EMR experience preferred (Cerner).
-
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced behavioral health environment.
