Job Summary

MW Partners is currently seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer to work for our client who is a global leader in multimedia and creativity software products.

Responsibilities and duties:

Collaborate and solution with some of our biggest customers
Work with data streams and APIs to provide enhanced automation capabilities
Build tools to alleviate support bottlenecks
Proactively monitor for improvement opportunities
Enhance scalability and performance across the platform

Requirements:

Bachelors Degree in Technology or equivalent.
5 years working in SaaS platforms & technologies
An emphasis on back-end development (Java or PHP preferred)
All the web basics covered - DOM HTML5 CSS3 and JavaScript
Comfort working with SQL or NoSQL data stores (MySQL Postgres MongoDB)
Experience with Docker or other container orchestration systems
Excellent communication skills and an eagerness to collaborate!
Experience with RESTful APIs or microservices
Familiarity with Scrum / Agile Methodologies
Solid understanding of version control systems (Git / SVN)
Proficiency working with event streams or message queues (Kafka Kinesis)
Practical exposure to APM and monitoring tools (New Relic Wavefront Vivid Cortex)
