Job Summary

TBest Services is looking for a Machine Operator to join our food production this role youll operate machinery to process various ingredients to the right consistency. If you have a background in food manufacturing or mechanical work and are detail-oriented this is a great opportunity for you!

Responsibilities:

Safely and efficiently operate all food processing equipment.
Keep production machinery running smoothly.
Clean replace and inspect grinders sifters and other machine parts.
Start and stop machinery as needed.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Follow all BRC and company processing guidelines and regulations.
Complete daily logs paperwork and product sampling.
Troubleshoot and solve equipment problems.
Follow detailed procedures accurately.
Fill storage hoppers and open slide gates for processing. Use hand tools and operate electrical controls.
Monitor all aspects of the production area.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

High School diploma or GED.
At least 1 year of experience in the food manufacturing field and machine operation required.
No food allergies as this role involves working with various ingredients.
Must be able to read and write in English.

Basic math and problem-solving skills.
Ability to stand for long periods.
Ability to lift and/or move heavy items.

Work Environment:

Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts.
Occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles.
The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
Work in a food production environment with various ingredients.

Schedule and Pay Rates:

1st Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
2nd Shift: 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM
3rd Shift: 10:30 PM - 7:00 AM
Pay Rate: $18 to $22 per hour
