Role: Cybersecurity Identity and Active Directory Remediation Project Manager
Location: Onsite Houston Downtown(4 days a week mandatory- No remote- Onsite from 1st day of work)

Role Overview: Project Manager to lead and drive a Cyber Security Identity Management and Active Directory (AD) Remediation initiative. This role will manage complex cross-functional delivery across infrastructure security and audit teams while ensuring compliance risk mitigation and on-time execution. The ideal candidate will be comfortable operating in high-visibility regulated environments coordinating multiple technical teams and supporting organizations transitioning to Agile delivery models.

Key Responsibilities:
Project & Program Management
- Lead end-to-end delivery of an Identity Management / Active Directory Remediation project covering both on-prem AD and Entra (Azure AD) environments.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans milestones and work breakdown structures (WBS) to ensure scope schedule and budget adherence.
- Track dependencies risks issues and mitigation plans across multiple workstreams.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Coordinate and align efforts across:
- Identity & Access Management (IAM)
- Compute & Server teams
- Network Security & Network Services
- Cloud Engineering
- Build / Platform teams
- Audit Risk & Compliance
- External vendors and service providers
- Facilitate collaboration between technical and non-technical stakeholders to remove blockers and drive execution.
Governance & Communication
- Drive project governance through:
- Daily/weekly standups
- Steering committee meetings
- Stakeholder and executive updates
- Provide weekly management status reports covering progress risks issues budget and upcoming milestones.
- Ensure clear documentation and audit-ready artifacts throughout the project lifecycle.
Agile Delivery Support
- Manage Agile backlogs sprint planning sprint execution and release readiness particularly for teams transitioning from waterfall to Agile.
- Partner with Product Owners and technical leads to ensure clear prioritization and delivery commitments.
- Monitor velocity sprint outcomes and delivery health across teams.
Change & Risk Management
- Assist with coordination of policy updates configuration changes and formal change management processes.
- Ensure compliance with internal security standards audit requirements and regulatory expectations.
- Drive risk identification and mitigation particularly related to identity security privileged access and directory services.
