Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior PMO for an IT Transformation Program.

Key Facts:

Contract type: Freelance contract
Start: ASAP
Duration: 8 weeks (possible extension)
Location: Hybrid onsite 2 days/week onsite (Hannover / Frankfurt)
Language: English (business fluent)
Eligibility: Candidates must be based in Europe

Tasks

Support the IT Program Lead in setting up and operating the program governance and delivery framework
Establish and maintain program management standards templates and reporting structures
Coordinate planning tracking and status reporting across all workstreams (Wave 1)
Prepare decision-ready materials for steering committees and senior management meetings
Track milestones dependencies risks and action items across the program
Ensure transparency consistency and quality across all program activities
Act as a central coordination point between project managers workstream leads and IT stakeholders

Requirements

Professional experience in PMO project management or program support roles within IT environments
Solid understanding of IT project and program lifecycles (Plan Build Run)
Proven experience supporting complex multi-stakeholder and cross-functional IT programs
Experience in large-scale IT transformation or consolidation programs is a strong plus
Strong structuring coordination and documentation skills
Familiarity with common project and program management methodologies and tools (e.g. Jira)
Ability to prepare clear concise and structured reports and presentations for senior management and executive stakeholders
Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with project managers workstream leads IT teams and the IT Program Lead
Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required; additional languages are a plus
