Job Description:
As a member of the engineering team you will work under the supervision of a senior engineer on technical work preparation production monitoring quality control and the design of added value (addons cases) for trailers and trucks. This includes developing subassemblies maintaining parts libraries and drawings for new construction and repair projects.
Below responsibilities:
- Measuring and drawing vehicles and parts for repairs and optimization
- Converting 2D drawings into detailed 3D models for engineering and production
- Designing all kinds of added values and add-ons for new and existing vehicles
- Creating electrical and hydraulic diagrams
- Practically performing and administratively processing load security and bumper tests as part of approval and compliance with legislation
- Monitoring the quality of delivered vehicles including preparing the Certificate of Conformity (COC)
Requirements:
- Technical degree in mechanical engineering vehicle technology or equivalent experience
- Technical drawing skills (2D/3D) experience with design software such as Solidworks and
- solid knowledge of materials
- Knowledge of hydraulics and electricity
- Attention to detail regarding tolerances quality control and documentation
- Strong team player
- Flexible/hands-on mentality
- Relevant experience in trailer truck or body construction/knowledge of European legislation
- regarding trucks and knowledge of multiple languages is a plus
