Job Summary
Lineside Production Support Engineer
Location Calgary AB Canada
Positon type: Full time.
Role Summary
Provide on-site lineside production support to ensure stable manufacturing operations rapid issue resolution and effective implementation of design and process changes.
Key Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day production activities through direct lineside engagement
- Troubleshoot manufacturing system issues process deviations and design-related problems impacting production
- Assess coordinate and support implementation of engineering and design changes on the shop floor
- Interface with Manufacturing Engineering Design Engineering Quality and Supply Chain to resolve production constraints
- Support problem-solving activities (root cause analysis containment corrective actions)
- Provide technical guidance to production teams to minimize downtime and disruption
- Support MRB-related activities as needed while operating with a broader production-support scope
Scope & Authority
- Broad production support role extending beyond traditional MRB responsibilities
- Authority to recommend corrective actions and coordinate cross-functional resolution
- Onshore presence required due to real-time production and system interaction
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong understanding of the production/manufacturing environment
- Experience troubleshooting manufacturing systems and production processes
- Ability to interpret and support engineering and design changes
- MRB experience beneficial but not mandatory
- Strong cross-functional communication and problem-solving skills
