Job Summary
Were hiring a Senior Backend Engineer to work on high-traffic digital platforms and SaaS products used at European scale.
The role is backend-first focused on C#/.NET services APIs and platform foundations.
Youll have ownership across design development and production in a cloud-based environment.
The role
Youll be joining a large-scale digital platform operating at European marketplace scale supporting products used by millions of users every month.
This is a backend-first role with real ownership across design architecture development and production. Youll work on systems that power public-facing platforms as well as SaaS products for professional users where reliability performance and scalability actually matter.
Were looking for engineers who enjoy autonomy take responsibility for outcomes and are comfortable working in a high-traffic high-impact environment.
Tasks
What youll be working on
- Designing and building backend services and APIs used at large scale
- Developing and evolving C# / .NET backend systems that support:
- high-traffic public platforms
- SaaS tools for professional customers
- Owning services end-to-end: design implementation deployment monitoring
- Improving platform foundations:
- automation
- CI/CD pipelines
- observability and monitoring
- system reliability and performance
- Collaborating closely with product and engineering peers across multiple teams
Requirements
What were looking for
Required
- Strong backend experience with C# / .NET (.NET Core / )
- Experience building web APIs ( Core)
- Solid understanding of backend architecture (modular systems services APIs)
- Experience working with production systems at scale
- Comfortable owning code in production and improving it over time
Strong plus
- Experience with microservices or service-oriented architectures
- Experience with cloud environments (AWS preferred)
- Familiarity with:
- CI/CD
- automated testing
- monitoring and observability
- Experience working on high-traffic platforms or SaaS products
