Senior Kubernetes

Dallas TX Hybrid

Local Dallas/Ft Worth area candidates ONLY not Houston or similar hours apart even if its Texas

For client onsite interviews: Individuals need to bring their own laptop which has an IDE preloaded. They will need to use it for a technical coding assessment.

Project Description:

Collaborates with leaders business analysts project managers IT architects technical leads and other developers along with internal customers to understand requirements and develop a strategy appropriate to the business requirements for quarterly Roadmap

Drives consensus on technical approach sets timelines and leads cross-functional application teams from design through delivery

Maintains and enhances existing enterprise services applications and platforms using domain driven design and test-driven development

Troubleshoots and debugs complex issues; identifies and implements solutions

Researches and implements new technologies to enhance current processes security and performance

Supports the development of coding standards and adheres to best practices and security guidelines

Works closely with software architects and technical leads to ensure decisions meet long-term enterprise growth needs

Responsibilities:

Individual who can perform Kubernetes Orchestration and not Software Engineering within Kubernetes.

Writes tests and documents technical work products (e.g. code scripts processes) according to organizational standards and practices

Write and test Kubernetes orchestration

Solves technical problems and builds components/libraries with far-ranging impact

Lead and collaborate with Kubernetes administrators and platform engineers to deliver features for multi-tenant cloud-based Kubernetes platform.

It could be whether Go language or Python

Mandatory Skills Description:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Computer Engineering Technology Information Systems (CIS/MIS) Engineering or related technical discipline or equivalent experience/training

5 years of experience designing developing and implementing large-scale solutions in production environments

Top 3 Mandatory Skills and Experience :JAVA Kubernetes Orchestration Cloud Go (GoLang) or Python

Java

o Programming Languages: Go (or GoLang) Python React

o Deployment Technologies: Kubernetes Docker

o Source Control: GitHub

o CICD: GitHub Actions

o Data management: PostgreSQL MongoDB Redis

o Integration/APIs Technologies: Kafka REST GraphQL

o Cloud Providers such as Azure and AWS

Ability to optimize solutions for performance resiliency and reliability while maintaining an eye toward simplicity

Ability to concisely convey ideas verbally in writing in code and in diagrams

Ability to optimize system designs spanning multiple teams to allow small safe incremental releases

Ability to work through others by cooperatively sharing responsibilities

Ability to combines deep knowledge of a product domain with awareness of advancing technology to introduce solutions that propel the technical capability of the organization forward.

Proficiency in object-oriented design techniques and principles

Proficiency in Agile methodologies such as SCRUM

Proficiency in DevOps Toolchain methodologies including Continuous Integration and

Continuous Deployment

Github Actions

Need DevOps mindset and experience creating custom Kubernetes operators. Position is not a software developer role but Kubernetes Orchestration using GO or Python.
