Job Summary:
The Senior Developer/Architect will be responsible for the development maintenance and optimization of the central infrastructure application instances and databases supporting the Budget System. This involves working and StimulSoft Reporting Software to support the Annual Operational Plan Biennial Plan and Budget Manual. The role includes development optimization mentoring and ensuring efficient database management and disaster recovery.
Location:Little Rock Arkansas United States
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain packages to extract data elements and construct data layouts.
- Support and optimize the Budget System applications.
- Assist and mentor state employees solutions and best practices.
- Ensure efficient SQL Server installation maintenance and optimization.
- Design and implement disaster recovery plans.
- Develop Windows and Web Services for system integrations.
- Design and maintain TDE Encryption and MS DTC configurations.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- 6 years of experience development and architecture ( C# ).
- 6 years of experience with SQL Server (including installation optimization and maintenance).
- 6 years of experience designing and maintaining financial and budget applications.
- 6 years in developing and testing disaster recovery plans.
- Experience with Active Reports and/or StimulSoft Reports.
- Proficiency in SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and TDE Encryption.
- Experience with MSDTC configuration.
- Strong communication skills and ability to create technical infrastructure diagrams.
- Financial Institution experience.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Knowledge of state and federal laws procurement budget human resources and payroll laws and processes.
- BS in Computer Science Information Technology or related field.
Special Considerations:
- On-site for the first month then partial remote after 6 months.
Scheduling:
- Duration: 05 months (Possibility of Extension)
