Job Summary

Job Title: Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (Terraform AWS Code Suite Backup & Cert Management 7 Yrs Exp)

Location: Atlanta GA (Hybrid)

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification

Key Responsibilities Cloud Configuration & Infrastructure Automation

Develop implement and maintain configuration management processes policies and standards for AWS environments.
Build deploy and enhance Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform for automated provisioning configuration and lifecycle management of AWS resources such as EC2 S3 RDS IAM and ACM.
Manage and optimize multiple environments (Development Test Staging Production) while ensuring consistency reliability and security.

Release Engineering & AWS DevOps

Support and maintain automation pipelines using AWS CodeCommit CodeBuild CodeDeploy and CodePipeline.
Collaborate with DevOps teams to support deployments releases rollbacks configuration changes and environment readiness.

Backup Patching & Compliance

Design and maintain automated AWS backup solutions to ensure data resiliency integrity and compliance with state retention policies.
Implement automated patching workflows to maintain security and compliance posture.
Conduct periodic audits of system configurations patch levels backup integrity and certificate compliance recommending and implementing improvements.

Security & Certificate Management

Manage the installation renewal rotation and validation of SSL/TLS certificates across AWS services.
Ensure secure communication standards aligned with state and federal security requirements.

Documentation Governance & Training

Maintain comprehensive documentation for configuration baselines Terraform standards modules and environment changes.
Provide training and guidance to team members on Terraform AWS infrastructure best practices backup strategies patch automation and certificate management.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems or a related field; or equivalent professional training certifications or experience.
Strong hands-on experience with:
- Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodologies
- AWS services including EC2 S3 RDS IAM and ACM
- Cloud backup and automated patching solutions
- SSL/TLS certificate management and cloud security best practices

Preferred Qualifications

Scripting experience using Python Bash or PowerShell for automation.
AWS and/or Terraform certifications.
Experience working in state or local government environments.
Experience with vendor management or oversight.
Familiarity with Agile delivery or project management tools.
Experience with organizational change management (OCM).
