Job Summary

InfraHire is looking for a Electrical Sales Representative in Newark NY.
Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors builders facility teams and walk-in customers

  • Understand customer needs and recommend appropriate electrical and lighting products/solutions

  • Prepare quotes process orders and follow up to close sales and ensure customer satisfaction

  • Coordinate with purchasing/warehouse teams to confirm availability delivery timelines and order accuracy

  • Resolve customer concerns professionally (pricing questions returns backorders product issues)

  • Support showroom/counter operations as needed and maintain a high level of customer service

  • Demonstrate leadership by taking initiative mentoring teammates when appropriate and helping improve processes

Qualifications
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal (soft) skills-professional friendly and customer-focused

  • Sales experience preferred (inside sales counter sales B2B retail or related)

  • Electrical industry knowledge preferred (electrical supply/distribution contractor sales lighting etc.)

  • Strong organizational skills and follow-through; ability to manage multiple customer requests at once

  • Strong problem-solving and ability to work well in a team environment

  • Leadership traits-ownership mentality accountability and ability to influence/coach others
