Role Description

This full-time on-site role in Rochester NY requires a skilled CNC Mill Setup Machinist. The machinist will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC mills ensuring optimal machine function producing high-quality components and adhering to precise specifications. Additionally tasks include performing regular equipment maintenance interpreting technical drawings and collaborating with the quality team to meet project standards.

Qualifications

Proficiency in Machine Operation and understanding of CNC machinery setup and maintenance
Experience with Machining and Milling processes
Knowledge of Quality Control practices to ensure production meets specifications
Familiarity with a variety of machining tools and equipment within a manufacturing environment
Ability to understand and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
Strong problem-solving and attention-to-detail skills
Previous experience in a CNC machine shop with multi-axis machining centers preferred
High school diploma or equivalent; advanced technical training or certifications are a plus
