Job Summary:
This role is for an MRI Technician responsible for performing MRI procedures on patients including outpatients inpatients and those from the emergency department. The technician will operate MRI equipment ensure patient safety and maintain a high standard of image quality. The position requires proficiency in various MRI techniques and adherence to safety protocols.

Location:Kernersville North Carolina United States
Responsibilities:
- Perform MRI procedures on various body parts including abdomen pelvis chest brain and extremities.
- Prepare and administer contrast media.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during MRI procedures.
- Utilize PACS and Siemens systems for image acquisition and processing.
- Adhere to radiation safety protocols.
- Start peripheral IVs as needed.
- Maintain and clean MRI equipment.
- Follow isolation precautions.
- Perform MRI procedures on various body parts including abdomen pelvis chest brain and extremities.

Required Skills & Certifications:
- Minimum 1 year of experience as an MRI Technician.
- Experience with ER/Trauma cases.
- Proficiency in performing MRI scans of the abdomen pelvis chest brain and extremities.
- Knowledge of isolation precautions.
- Skill in starting peripheral IVs.
- BCLS certification.
- ARRT MR certification.
- Minimum 1 year of experience as an MRI Technician.
- Experience with ER/Trauma cases.
- Proficiency in performing MRI scans of the abdomen pelvis chest brain and extremities.
- Knowledge of isolation precautions.
- Skill in starting peripheral IVs.
- BCLS certification.
- ARRT MR certification.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Experience with Visage PACS.
- Experience with Visage PACS.
Special Considerations:
- No RTO allowed after booking.
- Call-offs or additional RTO may result in cancellation.

Scheduling:
- 3x12-hour shifts (07:30-20:00).
- Saturday-Monday schedule.
