Job Summary

We are seeking a licensed Industrial Electrician to join our clients manufacturing team in the St. Thomas ON region.

Pay - $44-$47/hr

Shift - 12 hour rotation

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install troubleshoot maintain and repair industrial electrical systems machinery and production equipment

  • Diagnose faults in PLCs HMIs VFDs sensors and control panels

  • Support continuous production by responding to breakdowns and minimizing downtime

  • Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on electrical systems

  • Read and interpret electrical schematics ladder logic and technical drawings

  • Ensure compliance with food safety standards electrical codes and company safety policies

  • Assist with equipment upgrades line modifications and new installations

  • Maintain accurate maintenance and compliance documentation

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid Industrial Electrician License (e.g. 442A / Red Seal or equivalent)

  • 3 years of experience in a food or high-volume manufacturing environment

  • Strong knowledge of PLC troubleshooting (Allen-Bradley/Siemens preferred)

  • Experience with motors VFDs safety circuits and control systems

  • Familiarity with GMP HACCP and sanitation requirements in food production

  • Ability to work shifts weekends and respond to emergencies as required
