We are seeking a Toolroom Supervisor to oversee daily toolroom operations in an automotive manufacturing environment within the GTA region.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise daily toolroom activities including tool build repair modification and preventive maintenance
Lead and support toolmakers to meet production schedules and quality standards
Coordinate tooling requirements with production engineering and maintenance teams
Ensure proper setup troubleshooting and continuous improvement of dies molds jigs and fixtures
Maintain tooling documentation inventory and spare parts control
Enforce health safety and housekeeping standards within the toolroom
Support cost reduction uptime improvement and process optimization initiatives
Education & Experience:
Post-secondary degree or diploma in a related technical or mechanical discipline
Minimum 3 years of tooling experience in a manufacturing environment (automotive preferred)
