About the Role:
This is a full-time on-site Attorney position based in Troy Michigan. The role offers exposure to a diverse and sophisticated caseload allowing attorneys to actively engage in client counseling legal strategy drafting negotiation and litigation.
You will work closely with experienced partners and a supportive legal team contributing to matters across multiple practice areas while maintaining direct client interaction. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic legal counsel to clients across assigned practice areas
- Draft review and manage legal documents pleadings contracts and correspondence
- Represent clients in negotiations hearings and litigation proceedings
- Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategy and client advisement
- Stay current with applicable laws regulations and legal precedents
- Collaborate with attorneys paralegals and support staff to deliver high-quality legal services
- Manage multiple matters efficiently while maintaining strong client relationships
Qualifications & Experience:
- Strong proficiency in legal analysis research and drafting
- Hands-on experience with litigation negotiation and courtroom representation
- Knowledge of relevant laws and precedents in one or more of the following areas:
- Estate & Trust
- Business / Corporate Law
- Family Law
- Medical Malpractice Defense
- Excellent interpersonal organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple clients and cases with attention to detail and deadlines
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Active State Bar licensure in Michigan
- At least X years of relevant legal experience (based on role requirements)
- Proficiency with legal research platforms and case management systems
- Strong commitment to client service and professional excellence
