Job Summary

Role Summary: The Active Directory Consultant with 15 years of relevant experience who will be responsible for conducting a comprehensive assessment and discovery of the existing Microsoft Active Directory environment identifying security performance and operational gaps and proposing a structured roadmap for remediation modernization and upgrade.

Required Skills

- Deep knowledge in Microsoft Active Directory DNS DHCP and GPO

- AD security and hybrid identity experience

Key Responsibilities

1. Active Directory Environment Assessment & Discovery

End-to-end discovery of forests domains trusts OUs DCs DNS GPOs replication FSMO roles
Identify legacy components and technical debt

2. Security & Compliance Review

Assess security posture against Microsoft CIS Zero Trust
Review privileged access authentication audit policies

3. Performance Availability & Resilience

Review DC sizing replication DR readiness

4. Identity & Integration Review

Hybrid identity Azure AD/Entra ID integration
Identity lifecycle management

5. Upgrade & Modernization Assessment

Functional level and OS upgrade readiness
AD consolidation and modernization options

6. Recommendations & Roadmap

Gap analysis prioritized roadmap upgrade options

7. Documentation & Reporting

Detailed reports diagrams executive presentations
