Job Summary

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Techno Functional Consultant to join our Software Engineering team.

This hybrid role (Raleigh NC) is contract to hire with strong potential for conversion. The consultant will play a key role in integrating the Vertex Tax Engine with Oracle Cloud ERP and supporting B2B Customer Rebate Automation.

Responsibilities:

Design and implement Vertex tax engine integration with Oracle Cloud ERP.
Support rebate automation solutions including calculation accrual and settlement.
Collaborate with engineering teams to design integrations using Kafka event streams REST APIs and FBDI.
Define and validate data mappings flows and reconciliation processes for Accounts Payable and General Ledger.
Partner with product management QA and vendors to refine requirements and ensure successful delivery.
Support SIT UAT deployment and issue resolution during implementation.
Troubleshoot integration issues and ensure financial data accuracy across systems.

Qualifications:

Techno functional experience with Oracle Cloud ERP Financials.
Direct experience implementing or integrating tax engines (Vertex preferred).
Strong understanding of financial data flows accounting and reconciliation.
Experience with enterprise integration and event driven architecture (Kafka preferred).
Familiarity with Oracle Cloud ERP integration frameworks (REST APIs FBDI OIC).
Experience in large enterprise implementations with multiple integrated systems.
Strong interpersonal skills with ability to partner across business and technical teams.

Work Details:

Location: Raleigh NC (Hybrid must be within commuting distance).
Schedule: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM EST.
Engagement: Contract to Hire (W2 preferred open to C2C for strong candidates).
Interview Process: 2 rounds via Teams scheduled through Beeline.
