Job Summary

Job Title: Workday Financials & Adaptive Planning Consultant

Location: Remote New York City NY (Occasional onsite as required)

Duration: 6 9 Months (Contract)

Key Responsibilities

Workday Financials

Design build and maintain standard and custom Workday Financials reports including management and operational reporting
Support financial data structures such as General Ledger Cost Centers Ledgers and Financial Dimensions
Partner with finance teams to translate business requirements into effective Workday reporting solutions
Ensure data accuracy consistency and reconciliation across Workday Financials outputs
Support enhancements testing and issue resolution related to financial reporting

Workday Adaptive Planning

Configure and support Workday Adaptive Planning models for budgeting forecasting and long-range planning
Develop and maintain planning sheets assumptions versions and dashboards
Support variance analysis and scenario modeling for finance leadership
Integrate Adaptive Planning with Workday Financials to ensure seamless data flow and reporting alignment

Stakeholder & Project Support

Collaborate with finance accounting FP&A and IT teams to support ongoing initiatives
Participate in requirements gathering sessions and provide solution recommendations
Support UAT documentation and knowledge transfer activities
Provide occasional onsite support in New York City for key workshops or stakeholder meetings

Required Qualifications

Proven hands-on experience with Workday Financials reporting
Strong experience with Workday Adaptive Planning
Prior experience in Banking Financial Services or Finance-focused organizations
Solid understanding of financial reporting budgeting forecasting and planning
