Job Summary

Position: Senior SDET / Automation Engineer
Location: Chicago or Peoria IL (Hybrid 1 day/week onsite)
Duration: 12 Months (Long-term contract)
Experience: 10 Years

The Role in Simple Terms: You will be building the robots that check the clients digital platforms 24/7. This includes verifying data accuracy from machinery (API side) and ensuring their web portals work seamlessly for dealers and customers (UI side).

Technical Must-Haves:

Back-End Automation (6 Years): Strong coding skills in Java with specific expertise in Rest Assured for API testing.
Front-End Automation (3 Years): Hands-on experience with modern tools like Cypress or Playwright (TypeScript).
Methodology: Proven experience implementing BDD/Cucumber frameworks.
CI/CD: Ability to integrate your automated tests into pipelines (Jenkins/Azure DevOps).

Logistics:

This is a Hybrid role requiring you to be onsite in Chicago or Peoria every Wednesday.
