Job Summary

Lead architecture for AWACs Pricing Database and Rating services. Define API strategy for rating ingestion rules orchestration and real-time quote computation across InsureMO and custom rating components (including Excel Rating tool). Collaborate with underwriting actuaries and client tech teams to design scalable secure integrations for multiple LOBs (Commercial P&C). Own high-availability designs latency SLAs and modernization roadmap from configuration-driven rating to reusable microservices. Responsibilities: Architect microservices/APIs for rating calculations versioned models and deployment pipelines. Design canonical data models for policy coverage exposures and rating factors; define upstream/downstream contracts. Integrate with InsureMO APIs; develop adapters for Excel Rating tool ensuring deterministic computations. Govern NFRs: performance (< 150ms API p95) resilience observability security (OAuth2 mTLS) auditability. Drive API gateway strategy schema evolution backward compatibility; implement blue/green or canary releases. Mentor leads/developers; enforce coding standards threat modeling CI/CD hygiene. Align with enterprise architecture on AWS cloud data retention compliance (SOX/PII). Core Skills: Java (modern stack) API architecture enterprise integration stakeholder management InsureMO Excel Rating tool DDD event-driven patterns. Plus: DevOps (GitHub Actions/Jenkins) AWS (EKS/Lambda/API Gateway RDS/Aurora/DynamoDB) P&C domain depth rating tools/platforms.
